67 Tow Hooks

I need some help.

I have researched the forum and archives, and have not found a picture of an n original frame horn mount for a 67 with tow hooks.

The hooks will barely even fit onto the frame much less allow room for tow straps and such.
And how do you account for the uneven mounting level?
Use a washer for the front bolt holes?

I have seen pictures showing them facing front and back.

It makes sense that they face forward, (open to the front) for the 67-68 hooks, since they have more curve and also are thicker.

Does anyone have any pictures they can take of a known original 67-68 mount?
I will post this also for the 66 guys since these use the same hooks.

Thanks,
Mike

Not sure of the exact year of the frame, but here is what I have.

Re: 67 Tow Hooks

Is your bumper notched for these?

Re: 67 Tow Hooks

They didn`t really use straps back then.It was about the chain.I sold a pair of 60-68 hooks to a guy with a`66 and he said they wouldn`t work with his holes and bumper the next time I saw him.I don`t know what that`s all about.
