New Ken Harrison Radio - But how?

Okay, so I'm an intelligence analyst in the Marine Corps. My job is to hunt down the "bad guys", yet I can't figure out how to install a darn radio?!?! Need some help from you experts!

I bought a Ken Harrison radio so I didn't have to cut the dash. The truck didn't come with a radio so I don't see any loose wires behind the slots. The wriring harness was re-wrapped by the shop so I'm not sure where to go from here.

Do I cut and splice the harness and connect from the harness that came with the radio??

Like I said, I'm a Marine, so lots of colors and pictures helps the most!!

Thanks a ton for the help!!!

I don't know of-hand what year your truck is, but I have posted a couple wiring harness color guids at the top of this forum. Check those out and get back to me.

If you really need to I can figure out how to splice into the harness properly.

I don't think there is. I looked for any exposed wires ,but found none. The harness was wrapped by the engine guy that rebuilt it. I appreciate your helP!!

Re: New Ken Harrison Radio - But how?

make a new harness, find a switched 12v, find a constant 12v
make a ground point, and then buy a spool of speaker wire and run it to where you want your speakers at..

fresh install no factory harness "in the way" you can make it/ run it how ever you want it.. suuuper simple..

Sounds super simple, but not for this guy! I have no clue what finding a switched 12v means. NO clue on how to make a new harness. Lost in the sauce!!
