Measurement Help

I thought I saw these on here before but I could not find them when searching.

I am getting ready to cut into the floor and rockers and I need some measurements before I start to brace everything. I appreciate any help.

Need A,B and C measurements and anything else you think would be helpful.

Re: Measurement Help

can you put the top on? It might be easier then you can put the doors on (and off a bunch of times....)while your working on it to check the lines.

Read the thread...just don't look at the pic, the bottom door measurement is in-correct in the posted picture.

Make sure your body mounts are in great shape prior to any re-insallation of metal, if they're not replace them with new.

Here's some measurements I took last week for another board member from my untouched 69.

Your 'A' measurement:

Your 'B' measurement:

Your 'C' measurement:

Here's a couple so you can check your winshield frame angle too:
* Note where the plumb-bob string is hanging from, so your accurate when trying to match the numbers.

Re: Measurement Help

Hey Kurt, are you sure you're not a plumber? I saw the Kohler box and the plumb-bob?

Yep sure, the box is the same one you've made mention of a couple times now and from time to time, us 'lectricians have the need to drop a 'bob' too ya know.

Re: Measurement Help

Good Stuff!!

I'm printing these off for the shop now.

The only caution I'd make is that the "plumb bob" measurement will only be valid if the tub is 100% level to the ground. Otherwise I'm sure it could easily be off by 1/4" or more in either direction.

Really good point to remember, pic shows the blazer floor orientation when those where taken.
