JUNKYARD pics, cuz everyone likes pics...

I hauled a couple in today and took a walkabout with the camera.
First pic is what i hauled in.
Also, a pair of long steps.
No tach in the C-60. Would be tough to get anyhow...
The old burb will have more pics on the 66 and older message board.

Well, someone wadded up a '66 Caprice for sure. How did the taillight survive?

The taillights lenses are the only thing on a 66 caprice that looked better than the Impala

I would Love to have those stepside fenders from the 67!! You need to get back over there!
Glad to see you can still find these old trucks in your yards up there...down here you hardly find anymore.

Re: JUNKYARD pics, cuz everyone likes pics...

Those steps nearly brought a tear to my eye. Looked like a couple old men in a rest home waiting to die.

Re: JUNKYARD pics, cuz everyone likes pics...

Cool, thanks for sharing!

In the pic of the '67 long step, off to the left it looks like there are some tube cage/frames, like for rock crawling or something....what's the story with them?

Those are some circle track cages. Circle track racing on dirt is pretty popular around here.
