feedback on disc conversion

im going to convert the front of my 66 to discs.

if anyone has used a kit from cpp or pol let me know. im looking for opinions on any kits. they are all around the same price so im trying to see if any kit has any better quality.

any feedback would be appreciated.

Re: feedback on disc conversion

I used the kit from Early Classic Enterprises. I went with them so I could keep the 6 lug bolt pattern. At the time, no one else had the disc with the six lugs.

Re: feedback on disc conversion

Look at the "review board" section for issues with CPP.
I'm a big fan of ECE ond POL and have used both companies.

Re: feedback on disc conversion

I have heard of issues with CPP but I bought a CPP kit off E-Bay cheaper than their catalog price. I crossed my fingers for luck and happily no problems! Every thing fits great. and I am pleased with service and product.
I used a 71 crossmember but I stayed with the 6 lug rotors. I Knew E-Bay would back me up if problems occurred.
I have bought from POL, LMC , Brothers ,Car and Truck store , and Inline Tube And have not a problem with anybody. I am living right!! (Or about to get burned) Good luck!!

Re: feedback on disc conversion

Shop around,... and make sure you consider customer service and low prices and high shipping costs.
Unfortunately that's how some companies hook you into buying their products.

Re: feedback on disc conversion

I like Brothers Trucks. Have ordered many times. Never had a problem. But I am in Idaho and they are California and shipping is close. Florida is a little ways farther. Consider the shipping!!

Re: feedback on disc conversion

I used CPP for a 4 wheel disc conversion with 6 lugs and e-brakes. They sent one wrong tie rod adjuster but replaced it promptly. System has worked great for the last two years. The spindles were Western and of good quality. Other parts were OK.
