I ran across a '69 1/2 ton cab today with a very stock-looking Motorola radio. I have the same question - did GM use Motorola radios?

Re: found a couple trucks today

My 66 C20 came without a radio from the factory. The dealer installed a motorola am radio that looked a lot like the gm units. I would suspect that may be the case with these trucks you've looked at as well.

Yeah, it's looking like a deal-installed option. Interesting.
