Bolt Kit
Does anyone sell a COMPLETE bolt kit for these trucks? I want to replace every nut, bolt and screw and have only found a few small kits. I would sure rather buy a quality complete kit instead of piecing them together. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Re: Bolt Kit
just about all are available at a good fastener store at alot cheaper rates than you'll find in specialty "kits"

Re: Bolt Kit
I agree with Cdowns. Try to find most of them via the local hardware store or OSH, Home Depot, Lowe's etc... What you can't find, order from LMC or the likes. BTW, if you need bed bolts for a wooden bed, I have a TON of extras that are brand new. They sent me the wrong ones, replaced them and never asked for the originals back...

Re: Bolt Kit
classic industries sells a complete bolt kit for these trucks. At 300 bucks I think you would be hard pressed to buy all the bolts you need with washers and nuts for any cheaper. Especially proper bolts. In fact I would guarantee it.

Re: Bolt Kit
You will find them a LOT cheaper at a local fastener store as cdowns stated above.

Re: Bolt Kit
Would the local fastener store carry the correct grade bolts and would you know what was the proper grade? Some fasteners need to be grade 8, some grade 5, etc. I don't know what grade is required for which applications but I use grade 8 for anything that I think will encounter a heavy load.

Re: Bolt Kit
Thanks for the responses everyone. I can buy just about any bolts at discount prices but what I don't want to have to do is weed through all of the bolts, nuts, screws, etc to determine what I need. I was hoping to find something that had the majority of what I need and then I could fill in from there. I'll check out the Classic Industries stuff. I thought I had already looked through there stuff though and didn't see anything.
Thanks again..... |

SactoJim I missed your post in my first read. I'll give them a shot. I wanted to do stainless if it was available and I know I haven't seen there stuff.

Re: Bolt Kit
I understand why someone would want an entire bolt kit if available. At $400 if it saves me driving to a bolt store half a dozen times and scrounging around when I can't get any help, and or they only sell em' by the bagfull, I'm saving money!
Money I can make, time is rare. Bolt kit please...except I'm through the worst aleady I guess.
