Re: Suicide doors
Here's a neighbor that has done it.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...hlight=suicide OOPS! that's not it. I did a search for suicide in the build treads and this is one that came up. From search of "suicide" in the build threads: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...archid=1327810 Last edited by 71tahoe; 09-23-2009 at 11:15 AM. |

Re: Suicide doors
ran across this build on here and hit him up. i know the pics are not much but the truck looks great......
here is his what he said--- bagd72chevy "As far as the suicide doors, its difficult on these trucks. You have to push the pivot up against the outer skin and Z the hinges to not hit the windows. Don't forget to brace everything, that door jamb is weak. Its the only way to get the door to clear the lower body line as it opens. And mine is oh so close. I'll take some pics of the specifics this weekend."

Re: Suicide doors
Charles, here is a link that was done on a s-10. I have seen this done on our trucks using the wagoneer hinges. Still searching for the post though. This will give you an idea on what will be involved. Hope it helps
