my new 64-65 project

bought this last week and just got home tonite. 65 swb roller with a 64 cab its gonna be a project. the 65 cab is shot, 64 cab is very fixable, needing floor, rocker and cab corner work. will get more pics thu out the week and weekend

plans are to get lowered and get it together for a daily/spare vehicle, but then again we all know how that goes. one thing leads to something. not totally sure on m/t yet depends on what i find

yes the bed was part of the package, going to pick it up after work,its a long bed but will be a short bed when i get to that point

got the floor of 64 cleaned out today and off the back of the truck. just need to make some room in the garage and get parts to get the cab back in shape
also talked to a friend and found a m/t for the truck, now maybe its not everyones choice but its a buick 300 or 310 V8 and pg trans out of a skylark, last i heard it run was about a yr ago and it sounded great, no noises or smoke on start up, will be going to ck it out again this weekend

the cab is in the garage and started in on it, got the drivers side rocker fixed up and closed in the fuel fil hole. also rempved the windshield and found i need to do some wor, the roof section on the 65 cab looks to be inusale shape will know as soon as im ready to rip it all apart. heading to Carlisle in the am and hope to pick up the parts i need to get the rest of the cab in shape

we its been over a week and since then i had been out to the fall Carlisle swap and picked up some needed parts for the cab. had to do some clean up around the house andfinally got to work on the truck today. got the floor and old cab mount cut out and the new parts tacked in. gonna try to get the toe board/cowl area done this week
