Here in europe one needs to have the maximum tow/hitch weight on the car 'papers/licence'.

Unfortunately the former owner did not do this when he imported the bike.

Does someone have an owners manual with the information how much weight a 1979 C10 with a 350ci V8 is allowed to tow?
Could you please be so kind to scan it and post over here.

My original 1979 owners manual rates the C10 at 8,000lbs. Sorry, I can't scan it...

I know you can get the owners manuals online. here is one http://info.rockauto.com/Bishko/6302.html at www.rockauto.com I cant really link it right to that part because of the way it is set up. but I am sure you can figure it out when you click on the 2nd link.
