Ball Joints

Just thought I would pass on a good deal, Rockauto has a whole closeout deal going on MOOG lower ball joints. MOOG Part # K6117T

Im probably going to pick up a set of lowers. I do have a question about the upper ball joints.. Are the MOOGs the way to go ?? Or are the Raybesto's "Pro Grade" the way to go ?

Im going to be installing some 3'' drop spindles and want to replace the balljoints again, Currently im just running mccoy norris and they are Junk. I have replaced the uppers and lowers 2 times now.

I just dont want to replace them again any time soon aahhhah

Thanks for any info.

Re: Ball Joints

Thanks for passing alomng the good deal.
Moog parts are usually quality parts.

Also,... A balljoint should last 100,000 miles minimum.
Why have you had to replace your balljoints 2 times already?
How often do you grease them?

Just curious,... since even the cheap ones should last quite a while.

Re: Ball Joints

agreed. I've gone through ball joints quickly due to other serious front end issues and horrible alignment. Moog suspension parts are excellent quality. Great quality and last a long time. How cheap are they selling them at rockauto? I'd like to replace mine just so i know how old they are. lol.
