Re: hauled a couple more home today

I'm looking for the dash AC housings circled in the attached picture shipped to 58401 (does the blue '70 have them?). I don't need the chrome vent balls.

I'm leaving Sunday morning for work, so I probably won't be able to get back to this until Thursday when I get home.

That 68 4x4 looks pretty tuff! Would make someone a nice old beater!
If you don't end up selling it whole I am interested in the rear bumper.

Re: hauled a couple more home today

Sorry for slow reply, been golfing all morning and now I'm headed out the door to go get another truck. I'll try to start parting this 70 truck this week and get better pics for everyone who asked.
The 68 will not be getting parted for quite some time, I'll just let it sit out there to see if someone will buy it

70longhorncst, I'll get better pics once I get the wings out
badpeanut, Wes, I have a couple sets of those off, this one only has the drivers side
68monster, not sure yet, have to get them off and dimounted
D. Passmore, David, your 2nd in line on the wings
71 shortbedfleetside, Your 2nd in line on the wheels
71blcksuper4x4, Trevor, fenders are bondo'd. I haven't looked to see if it has belts in it
Blazerman, Rob, if you want this bumper its yours for $20, I have another one to put on the 4x4
Cyclone44, George, your 3rd in line on the wings
Thanks Randy

Randy, I know someone who might be interested in the bed. How solid and straight is it? Can you post or send some more pics of it.
If the deal goes through on the bed, whats the price on the frame?

Re: hauled a couple more home today

I need to check the bed out better, I know its rusted under the tool box opening. I'm not sure how much rust is in it, I'll get out a magnet to see if I can tell, the bed floor has spots on both rear corners. As for the frame the trailing arms are real good. I'd take $225 for bed and rolling chassis, without AT crossmember, motor stands and ps box. I should have time Mon to check it out, I have to go get another truck after work and then I hopefully have some time. I do have a real nice bed already taken off another truck for $400, no rust at all on it.
Thanks Randy
