I did some junk yard crawling the other day. The fan is out of 99 jeep cherokee

looking good.how did you wire it up?and mount it?

You can kind of see the tab on the shroud The fan had 3 tabs on it 2 toward the side 1 on the bottom I cut a 45 degree piece of tubing and bolted thru the shroud and simple L bracket on the bottom Its wired to switch where the tank selector should be

oh so it dont turn on by itself. when it hits a surten temp?

Nope i have to turn it on/off with the switch. Low budget is the key word

Sure does look like it's supposed to be there, don't it? That's the factory shroud, right?

Yep thats a factory big block shroud drilled two holes in it to mount the fan
