Poor truck....Wonder if the guy that built it is still alive after welding galv pipe or if he just has chronic emphysema?

Re: Saw this beast at the Police station
I assume that the 5" bowtie front bumper passes PA lift laws... don't see how but it had an inspection sticker on the window...

Re: Saw this beast at the Police station
Jack`em up just to bring`em back down with fugly bumpers.
Musta been a drug bust, going by the wtf paint job. Those are either custom wheels or old Jackmans. My dad had custom 10" wagon wheels built for his`62 Land Rover back in the late`70s that looked like that.

Re: Saw this beast at the Police station
Good eye! I had forgotten about Jackmans wheels, but you're right -- they are the only ones I knew of with spokes going all the way to the rim.

Re: Saw this beast at the Police station
I guess I still have one good eye.Just don`t know which one.I wonder if that`s paint or if they`re the aluminum ones.I`d love to find a set.Yeah, spokes got run into the ground. But,they are classic and all but gone now.Yet,you can still get them.can`t say that about the other classics, except slots for big bucks.Once somethings pass on they start appealing more to me.They "can" look good. Can`t say the same about any purple with yellow paint scheme. It actually got popular somehow.Look like chit to me.At least there`s no checkered flag theme tossed in like 99% of purple/yellow jobs.Eeeew!!!

My God, somebody should rescue that thing. Some kind of outreach program, leave no truck behind. Geez, I can't even look directly at it...(implied full body dry heave)

Re: Saw this beast at the Police station
suprisingly i kinda like the bushwackers. The paint is way overdone. The bumpers are way overdone. Other than that That truck is W.I.C.K.E.D

Re: Saw this beast at the Police station
in PA you have to have the tires covered (bushwackers) and I assume that those bumpers somehow made it pass a lift law... don't know. It's gone now, must have been an employee's.

Re: Saw this beast at the Police station
Heh heh, funny how that works. It`s a difference you wouldn`t notice if you weren`t looking for it.I guess Jackman was the original.Definately where the "wagon wheel" term came from, later migrated to "white spokes".I`d love to find a 10" set of 8-lug aluminum Jackmans.
