Question BB heat shield

Could someone please post a pic of the heatshield on thr firewall of their BB truck ,so I can see how it mounts on the truck? Thank you. Dave

Here are a couple pics of the firewall. You can see the two holes where the heat shield is going. It mounts with two screws from the inside of the cab, the heat shield itself has two welded on nuts. One before pic with the heatshield mounted.

I have a '72 Sierra Grande,Custom Camper 3/4 which is an original 402 BB truck.Did all bb trucks have them.If not, is the heat shield nessessary?

I think all BB trucks came with them. I can't say if it's necessary or not but I think a lot of trucks converted from SB or 6cyl go without it.
I haven't heard of anyone having a problem caused by that.
