Tacoma area Blazer tank (new)

New Blazer tank with some surface rust(dang cardboard) sold my 1970 and its too big for my 49. Need the room. Prefer local pick up or meet somewhere
but will consider shipping.
Hows $200 sound ?

It is according to the place I bought it from. But I am glad you brought this up
does anyone have pics we can compare it to ? Maybe measurements ?
I'd sure hate to ship that sucker and find its something else.
Thanks bigdon !

That's a 73-87 blazer/burb tank. They can be used in 67-72 trucks as shown in the "blazer tank on the cheap" thread.

Re: Tacoma area Blazer tank (new)

Wondering if I should treat that surface rust ? Would it be more saleable?
Inside is great. Outside looks worse than it is.
$180.00 ?

Would it be possible for you to get some length and width measurements?
I have a customers unfinished 71 1ton dually 4X4 project coming into the shop on Thurs and it needs a big rear tank..
If it will fit, I want it.. buy, trade more shoes etc

Thanks!!
Mark

The best I can tell its 283/4W x 28 3/8D thats at the flange. The tank portion is 27" wide and 26" deep

Let me know if that helps or I can bring it to work in Auburn. I'd offer to bring it farther but between Dentist and wedding anniversary not sure how much extra time I'll have this week. Next week I'm good for time.

Shoes - Anniversary Hmmmmmmm ? LOL

Maybe I measured wrong?, maybe you measured wrong? I can adjust it with a variety of size manipulators (hammer's)
Well thanks for trying !
Were we close ? Just curious.

Re: Tacoma area Blazer tank (new)

Thanks Livrat ! I've never attempted one of these. I bought this thing thinking I would put it in my 70 C10. Now gone
Is the 1 ton differant ? Do I need to advertise this in the 73 and up classifieds ? (if you know) thanks !

Re: Tacoma area Blazer tank (new)

I do not thinK a normal 1ton would have any problem using your tank..
The 1 ton 4X4 I am building has rear 4 link suspension and air bags with an added crossmember which limits the fuel tank space..

Posting it on the 73 up section might be a good idea..
