Please help identify the wheel/tire size on this truck

I pulled this picture off of this forum site some time ago and was trying to figure out the wheel size and tire size along with the drop. Does anyone reconize this truck or have an idea on what its specs might be?

I think it has a 3/5 drop on 18s front and rear. Maybe a 255/45 up front and 275/50 out back

I was going to say the rear if it is a 5" drop with that tire would be a little less gap i think. THat would be a 27" tire and there is a 2-3" gap between the body and the tire. It does appear to be a drop of some sort though.

Thanks for your comments guys. I am just trying to figure out what wheel/tire combo I want to run. Its overwhelming and its hard for me to tell by looking at pictures.....so I ask the experts!

Thanks again.

Re: Please help identify the wheel/tire size on this truck

I honestly don't think those are staggered wheels on that truck...they appear the same diameter front to rear....I have an 18/20 combo on mine too, and you can really tell it with a 5-spoke type wheel......

That being said, I can't tell if those are 17's or 18's on that truck, but I'd bet they are all 4 the same diameter for sure. I'll also give you an option to consider as well, if you are leaning more towards something that isn't too aggresive....a nice set of staggered 17's can look very good in conjunction with only a mild drop. Nitto makes the NT450 in 255/50/17 (what I suspect that truck has all the way around) as well as 275/50/17, they still have a decent sized sidewall, so also a very good ride...and they will fill the wheel well nicely. IMO they look great staggered with the 255's up front, and the 275's out back.....the big bonus is that they aren't ridiculously priced like most 18 & 20" tires are.....for that matter neither are 17" wheels typically.

I know it's a totally different car, but here is an example that I used to run on my old Chevelle (keep in mind that generation of Chevelles had pretty big wheel wells too).....those exact Nitto's, 255/50/17 up front, and 275/50/17 out back (on Boyd 17x8 and 17x10)...with the right drop (not too aggressive), that same combo can look great on a 67-72 truck.

I agree with what everyone else said about the tires/wheels but that can't be a 3/5 drop as the truck's rear is much higher than the front. If it was a 3/5 drop the truck would be nearly level with the ground. Just my .02.
