59 chevy dash switch out

just wounderd if any one has done this I think the guy told me it was a 59 dash out of a car ifromation would be nice thank you clifblazer

I think you'll have to alter the width of the dash to fit your truck....maybe widen it. I have a pic of a '59 Edsel dash in a '68 and it had to be widened. Those bodies in the late 50's, early 60's had a heckuva arm rest on the outside of doors. Didn't think much about the inside width when I was driving them, but it sure came to light in the pic. What you see that wraps around on this dash is also what wraps around on the Chevy dash. The original body had a dogleg where the windshield curved around, compared to the slant of the windshield post on your truck. It's alot of work, in my opinion.

check out Rodney High Gear Hot Rods out of Arkansas. They have a website and the truck is called Retroactive . It is KILLER !!!!!! It has a dash swap and a million little mods

nice he just hammered out a hole new dash what I want to do is take dash out and replace with a 59 chevy dash lots of coolness just want to talk with or see it done

I talked to a guy that did it and he said he had to trim the left side alittle so it would be centered. It looked really good.
