1972 lwb highschool build "THUMPER"

Hey guys, im 15 so it will come along slow. my grandpa and i have been working on this truck for about a year or two now. We bought the truck from a junkyard for $100 without an engine, interior, tailgate, but came with extra rust. I cant seem to find the pic from when i first got it but here are some pics of what we have done so far. it has a rebuilt 350 engine and transmission, vintage air, new bench seat, redone interior, kick panel speakers,15" kicker l5 subwoofer and kenwood head unit. also new tailgate , roll pan, rockers, fender etc. tell me what you think
eventually i want to paint the truck white, lowered a little more with black 20" rims

Project Name....Thumper!!

dam nice truck but color should be up to you..you said white maybe an Ivory with a black pin stripe or a couple of Rally stipes or a black band around the nose like the old camaros/chevelles...see I could go on forever but its your truck you pick....

Re: 1972 lwb highschool build

if its any consolation even after almost 30 year dad still reminds me of the burn outs at the end of the driveway from me and the boys when I was in high school...and yes he still shakes his head!!

Here's your truck lowered. I think you'll probably change your mind many times on color I know I have. I think a 5 spoke 18" or 20" wheel looks great on a lwb truck. Just my opinion but the bigger wheel on the lwb trucks looks more proportioned.

Go with 22's on the back and 20's in the front, you will not be dissapointed and you wont have to cut as much to Keep at it man!

Re: 1972 lwb highschool build

Havent got much time lately to work on the truck. This weekend i picked up some new 18" foose rims.

I personally think they look a little small now but i think they will look perfect once i bag it.

heres some pics:
