I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to need one, since I'm feeling a shudder from the driveline and it appears the driveshafts are resting a little lower in the rubber bushing than they did when I picked up the truck.

The items seem pretty inexpensive from most sources but I've seen discussions where the concensus is replacement carriers are not up to the quality of the originals.

Who has had good results with which sources? Who has had bad experiences? Knowing that vendors will change suppliers, it would be good to mention when you had your results.

I've felt good with Anchor brand engine mounts in the past, and they seem to be one manufacturer for the carriers, but who's gotten an Anchor box when ordering from what company? Any better advice?

Here's an article I saved from earlier where someone had recommended a carrier bearing.

Found a better hanger bearing - fairly cheap !!
