Polishing Eagle Alloy Rims?
I just got a set of Eagle Alloy 211's. I noticed the other day there were some water spots on them, so i washed and polished them with Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish. I've always had good luck with mothers on other trucks but it seemed to leave a chalky film on these rims. I'm sure this has already been talked about but i wanted some advice on what to use to have them show ready by this weekend. Thanks.

Re: Polishing Eagle Alloy Rims?
some "pol;ished" rims have a clear coat on them . thats what is giving you the chaulky look// a real pain ,the only way i know to solve is getting the clearcoat off and polishing when you get down to the real metal

Re: Polishing Eagle Alloy Rims?
When you are finished polishing, you need to "seal" the metal to keep stuff like soap and water deposits from building up and sticking to the aluminum. I use a product "Power Seal" from a company called wizards the basically puts a sealing film on the metal. http://www.wizardsproducts.com/store...ction=0&page=2
There are other companys out there that does that, but this stuff works well for me. I drive my daily driver in all weather conditions. Zoops makes a sealant that works well, but it is quite expensive. Note: Eagle rims are hard to keep shiney, they are somewhat of a satin finsh rim.
