2WD frame
I found a 2WD frame to replace my torched up 4WD 1 Ton frame.
I was wondering if you guys think I should buy this frame and just switch the spring perches over to the new frame? Is there any difference in these frames other than no perches for the Dana 60? Thanks fellas. |

Re: 2WD frame
well from what I understand. you will lose a bit of your one ton capability as they are much taller then 1/2 tons. but you probably knew that?

Re: 2WD frame
I'm sorry I forgot to say it was a 1 ton also. my friend just wanted to pull the 454 first and sell me the rest of the truck.

Re: 2WD frame
as long as you have both 1 ton frames you should be able to piece together what you need. I belive that all the holes for the 4x4 stuff are already in the 2wd frame.
