Gas Pedal studs/Bracket

I ordered the gas pedal studs with the bracket, now the question is how are you supposed to attach it to the floor. I thought the studs were supposed to thread directly into the floor but then they won't line up with the gas petal. Any ideas?

The '60-'66 Chevy trucks have a few different stud spacing arrangements. I have a stack of factory accelerator pedals and some ball stud spacing is closer than others. Measure the distance between the threaded nuts in the floor board of your truck and make sure the pedal you order is the same measurement.

Some of the accelerator pedals are secured to the floor with machine screws into the weld nuts in the floor board, in lieu of the ball studs.
