Re: gas tank install

I had mine boiled clean and leak tested at the local radiator shop in town, they also put a lining in the tank. Lots of board members have used this method for cleaning out their old tanks.

Are you going to run a blazer tank or reg. After shipping a blazer tank is going to run you at least 250

Re: gas tank install

Not much to installing the tank if it's stock. Make sure you replace the filter sock on the pickup with a new one while you're at it. BTW, if it's a 71, it probably has EEC. If your truck is not set up for that you have to plug some hoses and run a vented gas cap.
