Questions about Black Oxiding
Just curious if anyone was done this on things like the hood latch or door latch areas. I bought the kit to restore my bolting but but am curious to how it would stand up to impact areas.
Anyone with experience thier imput would be appreciated.

Re: Questions about Black Oxiding
It will scratch/wear-off of the places where there is "rubbing". It will usually stand-up to things like wrenches or sockets, especially if you have a good fit, no slipping. It is a surface coating after all.

That kind of what I figured. What are the options for these areas??
Chrome, powder coating?
