New wheels and tires are on....
Well, finally got the wheels and tires installed but not before making a few more mistakes. The wheels are 18x8 Rocket Hyper Silver Boosters and the tires are 255/40R18V on the front and 275/40R18V on the back. 4.75" backspacing on all the wheels.
I know, I know, it still doesn't quite get the job done. I'd planned on 60 aspect tires to fill the wells (2.5" taller) and a better ride but they were too tall. I should have gone with a little wider tire front and rear and a 50 or 55 sidewall. That's what I get for listening to a tire expert. Oh well, they'll have to do until I can light these up a few times. Love the wheels but still don't have the right stance. I'll get it eventually. |

Scott the wheels look good, excellent choice!
Maybe a 3/5 drop or even a 4/6... The wheels just "fit" your truck though.

Re: New wheels and tires are on....
i did that on my 68 camaro before i knew what the #'s on the sides of the tire actually meant. put a 50 series on the back and it should have been a 60 or 70 series to fill the wheel well.... truck looks good but yes tires are still to short...
