Re: Arnold Mo Truck Show
Great pics Scott, looks like you guy's had a great time. And it looks like Sammy and Firedog had a good time showing off their trucks as well.
Nice to see the LWB out there Sammy. Any more shots of your cousin's truck?

Re: Arnold Mo Truck Show
More of the show....
This 1955 Cameo in my opinion should have won Best of Show. The owner was kind enough to share the restore story with me and it was quite remarkable. The bed sides where made of fiberglass from the St. Louis Corvette factory line. Rear bumper has two bolts that unscrew to reveal a fiberglass box that holds the spare tire. The bumper of the truck I was told along is work over a grand! You simply can not find the tail lights on these 'fancy trucks' so they are super rare as well. This year fleetside is what started the craze for FANCY as the owner put it for all others to come. I wish I could share the pictures of the motor but camera got full and had to make room for more trucks. It is a 265 ci bored out to a 283 all gray which is period correct for this truck. The windshield washer pump is unique for this truck. You press a pedal inside the cab and a stream of water shoots out. All in all a very cool truck in my book.

Re: Arnold Mo Truck Show
Yes, we had a great time. Had to get the LB out, the GMC is having some mods done to the electric fuel pump setup that required some immediate attention. I was real surprised my L/B took best of class 67-72 voted by the attending members. As both the Jimmy and Firedog's trucks were much cleaner than my 69.

Re: Arnold Mo Truck Show
nice meeting you scott and thanks for the pics. Sammy's long bed is nicer than he lets himself think the color combo on that truck gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes
