can anybody help ID some headers?
I'm a newbie to the site, and glad I found it! Last weekend I bought a '71 Chevy C10. She's a bit on the rough side still, but that'll change soon enough. Right now, there's a 350 that's been dropped in, and it has the standard rams head exhaust manifolds on it(attached to a couple sweet Cherry Bombs). My dilema is this, (and trust me, you'll know I'm a newbie in many ways)....how can I ID a pair of headers that were left here from a former tenant? I know he was a Chevy guy, but ya never know about old stored stuff, and IF the headers will fit the beast, I'd def want to install 'em, but how would I know IF they'd fit my engine, or maybe if they belong entirely on another brand(god forbid) like Ford or Mopar? Measure from dead center, one pipe to the next and match known patterns? Hey....I told ya I was a newbie! haha

Re: can anybody help ID some headers?
arejaye amd from Ohio... Well you are asking a tough question. Ti ID your headers you should look to see if there are any markings on the headers. Maybe a pert number or makers mark. As far as will they fit...the only way to tell is to bolt them on. Not only do the flanges need to fit but the angles of the pipes need to clear your frame also. I'll let others chime in who have more knowledge that I. Good Luck.
