re: disc brakes
did 69s come stock with front disc brakes? if not, any tips on how to find out what's on my truck? i bought it recently and have no records, etc.

As far as I know, disc brakes did not start on these trucks until 1971. I could be wrong though (it has happened in the past). If you have disc's on the front, they were probably swapped from a newer truck or are an upgrade kit. I am not sure how to identify the parts, but I would assume that you could just order replacement parts from a 71, 72 model year.

no discs till 71.
