FEELER, 350/350 combo
I am contemplating putting a LSX engine in my 86. I wanted to see if there would be any interest in my current drivetrain combo. It is a NEW GM crate 350 (290 horse according to previous owner Bigarmzz but I dont know for sure. May be the 165 horse. Either way, alot cheaper.) It is complete from air cleaner to oil pan with all accessories including the A/C. It has an Edelbrock carb, Extreme Energy camshaft, Edelbrock intake, etc. This runs perfect and I have had zero issues since purchased. It has aroung 2500 miles on engine. The trans is a rebuilt turbo350. It has also around 2500 miles on it. Shifts nice and firm. Zero issues with it either. This is a very nice running combo and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. I am not sure on a fair price so I will start @ $2000 for everything? The engine bare costs that. Please feel free to give me your thoughts. Thanks.

Sounds like a good deal. That would work good for my K5. I would not have the cash till tax time, if then. What kind of time frame are you looking at?

Re: FEELER, 350/350 combo
Pretty much whenever, I may wind up keeping it now. I am picking up a 5 window (55 1st series) and it will need a drivetrain as well.

No problem, Just letting you know I was interested in it. I'm not sure when/if I'll have the cash. I'll probably wind up slowly rebuilding the 305 that was in it.
