windshield install
Mornin guys, I'm usually on the 67-72 side, but I recently traded a guy for a 94 suburban. The windshield is badly cracked, but he threw in a new one. How hard are these to replace? Does it require special tools, or is it something I could do?

Re: windshield install
Urethane adhesive.
The www.lmctruck.com website will show you a breakdown on the trim pieces (one at the top and one on each side) that may need to be replaced. But I don't have the expertise. It's a glue-in part but be sure to use the right adhesive....urethane. There's a silicone sealant that some people like to think is the right stuff but there have been other posts that have agreed to the use of the urethane for the glass installation. After all, it's what the glass shops use....
