Re: Disk brakes for 3/4 burb
it must be 1970 or older if it doesn't have disc front brakes. my 72 burb 3/4 ton stops awesome with completely stock brakes. i ordered a set of ceramic pads from jcwhitney for when it comes time to do a brake job. any 71 or newer GM 8 lug truck should be able to donate the parts provided the donor truck has the same drive configuration (2wd vs 4wd) and you know exactly what pieces needed to used to build a hybrid setup if need be. personally i prefer to better factory stuff over the aftermarket.....especially when it comes to getting replacement parts.

Re: Disk brakes for 3/4 burb
looks like you will need to change the inner and outer tie rods and the spindles and the upper and lower control arms to the 71 -72 with disk brakes. or you can the complete crossmember assembly to the 71-72.if your truck is still running and driveing the complete change is a lot of work due to the motor mounting on the crossmember. PM me and i can send pictures to your email of a disk brakes front end. That i will be parting out

Re: Disk brakes for 3/4 burb
As said before just buy all the new parts you can as 71-72 3/4 ton suburban; and the parts that you can't buy new just get from a 71-72 3/4 ton part's truck or suburban.
