I am wondering if there is somewhere to go and find out the original specs of a 70 C20?
Like horse power,torque,etc?
Mine came with a 350 but was replaced some time ago with what I thought was a 350 but have not run the block numbers yet.
I bought what I thought was a good running rebuilt 350 to replace this one which is wore out,smoking,burning oil.
I ran the numbers only to find I bought a 307.
I am in the process of getting my money back.He said he would refund it but we all know how that goes.
Other question is if I get stuck with this 307 which has had valve work and high compression pistons,how much of a drop off is this from an original 350?
I removed the intake,heads,cam and verified it LOOKS new/rebuilt.

The HP on a 1970 350 c.i. 4bbl is 255. Cant help on torque.

Not sure if this helps you or not but I have some specs from my Chilton that bases the power/torque on of course displacement.... and carb size..... nothing specific about C10 or C20

the factory brochure from 70 rates the 307 at 200 hp and the 350 at 255hp.

255 versus 200 is quite a bit of difference.
Not sure what mine us putting out now but nowhere near 255 I'm sure.
So over what I have now I might not notice but I will know.
Let's hope I get my money back.

factory service manuals available cheaply from most all vendors have loads of specs and on top of that they tell you the proper way to fix stuff
