Progress pics 68' GMC 4x4

Just giving this a shot. Been unsuccessful in the past. If this works, here are a couple pics of my 68' 4x4 3/4. These photos are a few months old.

Did you do a shackle flip for the rear lift?

WOW looks great my 69 gmc in the exact same color and with a 6" lift. I wish mine was that far done though.

That second GMC looks pretty dang clean (the 2 wheel drive one). It's amazing how sedate a set of stock poverty caps and boring paint will make a short bed seem huh?
What other plans you have on that GMC? Going mild or wild on it?

longhornmail,

I don't really know what I want to do with the 70' yet. My first thought was a street rod. Now I'm pondering the thought of placing it on a 4x4 chasis. Ask me tomorrow and I might have another thought. Tough decision.

It is a clean truck. Bought it from a board member who happened to live over the hill from me.....talking about convenient. It only has one bad rocker, and two small rust areas on the doors. Otherwise, it is a real clean truck. Has a 6cyl, 3 spd currently. Was yellow, and may go back there.......

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Now that is one clean 4x4.
Looks as if you have enough posts now for your own avatar.
