Re: Bagged with frame mounted gas tank ?

I am in process of building this set up. Not far enough long to tell how it is going to work out though. I plan to mount my air tank pumps etc along the outside of the passenger frame rail.

Oh mine is a long bed so that gives me more room in that area over the short bed trucks. Probably impossible to make work on step beds!

Re: Bagged with frame mounted gas tank ?

I'm running a frame mounted tank under the back of the bed. My manifold valves and compressor are mounted on the outside of the framerails in front of the rear tires for easy access. My tank is mounted in the bed for now but I'm planning on moving it below also.

Re: Bagged with frame mounted gas tank ?

Thanks for the info guys,I think I can put my air tank behind the gas tank without any mods and mount the compressor and manifold on the rear side rails.
