Newbie from the 501
i have a 1994 Silverado...which as of late has become a problem child....as soon as one things fixed...WHAM another problem rises.....my latest is i give it gas and it starts "HOWLING" as the more gas i give it the more it increases...i tried to explain the noise to a mechanic and i sounded like i was raping a whookie....when i coast around 30mph and give it gas again it sounds like it's about to come loose....I really want to rebuild my truck i have so many ideas but i have to get the small things out of the way RIGHT!!! It's a 350/700r4 tran....I DUNNO PLEASE HELP!!!

Try hitting the 88-98 section and talking to those guys in there. The people that might know will probably not see this in the welcome section. You didn't really specify where you though the howling was coming from. It sounds to me like a rear-end issue. I had one do the same thing when it got low enough on gear oil.
