402 to a 454 swap

ok i havent looked at the problems of my truck. i know something broke and its leaking oil faster then i can pour in... say i cracked the block.. if i get a 454 block.. can i use parts off my 402 if so what would they be? im building a 302 ford and stroking it to a 347 so ill know how to swap parts over

You can use all of the brackts, mounts.... pretty much everything but the internals.

I did the same swap and I used, heads, valve covers, intake manifold, carb, exhaust manifolds and all brackets and pulleys. You can not use the flywheel and balancer. Mine was a 72 402 to a 73 454 swap.

that is correct, eerything but the ballancer and flexplate/flywheel.
If your 402 carb is perfectly tuned, then it'll need some messing with for the added 50 cubes, but it's still do-able.
