front end higher than back end?
What makes some factory non lifted Blazers set noticeably higher in the front? I know I might be asking a dumb question but I have never been around 4x4's. Thanks...for the info!

Re: front end higher than back end?
just use a pair of lift springs, or even easier....just use an add-a-leaf kit. it will firm up the back end only a tad and look more at home than lift blocks!

Re: front end higher than back end?
Skyjacker lift kits come with the next size higher rear springs, when they sell blazer lifts. When you buy a 4" lift, it comes with a 6" rear spring. A 6" lift comes with an 8" rear spring, etc.

Re: front end higher than back end?
I've bought 2 skyjacker lifts for my blazer. The first was a 2 1/2" which came with a 4" rear spring. The 2nd was a 6" which came with an 8" rear spring. I think they mention this in their catolog or on their website. They said it is to level the blazer because the come from the factory sitting lower in the rear. (as we all know)

Re: front end higher than back end?
JUST GO TO A SPRING SHOP they can rearch your springs or add one chepper than a lift kit andthey do it for like 200 bucks. the reason they put stiffer spring on the frount end thats why theres only like 3 on frount for motor weight than when they sage the back gets lower and lower over the years and the frount stays the same or sages slower Or I could be full of it?

Re: front end higher than back end?
They sit lower in the rear because they are so short. You just don`t notice in the trucks.Figure the front is raised over a 2wd height and the rear is the same suspension.some trucks came with little 1" blocks in the rear, too.i hang onto those for fine tuning.Don`t freak out, these are through-bolted just like a zero rate and the 1" doesn`t make a difference with wheel hop.My`90 blazer came nose-down and I hated that more.It makes to terrible handling.I had a spring shop level it up with an arch/added leaf.Spring shops can set a suspension any way you want.

Re: front end higher than back end?
I have a tuff country lift with blocks in the back. Front are 4" leaf springs and the back came with a 5 1/2 blocks.
