Thumbs down need parts for my 91.......

pulled rear wheels tonight to adjust my rear brakes and found that both axles are wearing out (leaks and movement between axle/bearing )
so where do you guys get your parts cheap ? (no job so it has to be cheap)
thanks

A junkyard that lets you pull the parts would be cheaper than one that has 'em out, I'm thinkin'. But, it sounds like you oughta check something like Craigs List for a parts vehicle or one that is being parted out and get the whole rear axle.

ive done rear bearings/axles more than once in the last 15yrs. getting the bearing out is the hardest part.... ya guess ill call around and see if i can find a set of good axles or a complete for same price.... (hmm maybe even better gears inside hmmm)

Re: need parts for my 91.......

With the "Cash for Clunkers" I'm seeing a lot more whole trucks showing up in bone yards for parts. The stuff I've called on the guys are thinking is worth gold but it's a start. I just don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing??
