67 spring upgrades

I have a 67 K10 that eventually I would like to lift. From what I understand 67-68 4x4 springs are different than 69-72, and 67-68 lift kits are non existant. I want to say that early springs are more hour glass shaped. I prefer not to have lift blocks and dont want custom springs. I am wondering if two other options would work....

1. Use 69-72 spring brackets (remove old rivets and bolt on to 67 frame). Get 69-72 all spring lift kit.

2. (not sure if this would work) Use 73-80's spring brackets, A 4" shackle flip kit for the rear for 73-80's, a B-52 kit for the front (uses 52" rear springs in the front and gets about 4" lift). get two sets of rear springs.

I am just wondering what other people with 67-68's have done and if the second option would work or not.
