Energy suspension shackle bushings.
Looking to get a leaf spring and shackle bushing set to put on the springs that will be going on the K5. According to energy they are either 1 3/8" or 1 1/2" OD on the frame side of the shackle. I measured mine and they are 1 3/4" (actually 1.774" ).
I have no information about the truck, since I just bought the frame and bed from it. I do know its an 84 with the 1" LD rotors and only 4 springs including the OL (52"). Anyone know which one would be right? Here are the part numbers I'm looking at: 3.2106 for 1 1/2" http://www.energysuspensionparts.com...?prod=3%2E2106 3.2108 for 1 3/8" http://www.energysuspensionparts.com...?prod=3%2E2108 Thanks, Paul

Re: Energy suspension shackle bushings.
Bump?
I'm more confused now. Took the bushing out earlier today. ID of the shackle is 1.367, which is just short of 1 3/8" (1.375") OD of the 25 year old rubber bushing is 1.450. Guess I'll be calling Energy tomorrow when I get up. I'm doubting they will be any help. Guess I'll order the 1 3/8" kit and see if it willl work. At the worst I'm out the 18 it will cost for a different set of shackle bushings.

Re: Energy suspension shackle bushings.
Guess I'll talk to myself a little more. Did some digging when I got home this morning and found the stock shackles off my '78 heavy half.
OD of the shackle is 1.900" OD of the bushing seems to be 1.500" So with that info, I'll get the 1 3/8" kit and see what happens.
