Some Pics of my '73 C20 Fleetside
Some of ya'll that welcomed me to the site asked for some pics so I thought I would post a few. I started a couple years back fixing my old '73 up a little at a time. I took the original bed off because someone had run into it while I was parked at the bar. I was working at the time...he he he...
As strong as that old steel is it was easier for me just to find a newer bed ('87 I think) and install it. Unfortunately, while installing the newer bed, we damaged the back of the cab. Man, that hurt me to see the damaging gouges we put in it. I have since fixed with some minor bodywork--that took me waaaay too long as a beginner. These pics are pre-bed-install while I was painting the back frame portion with Rust Bullet. That stuff is some heavy material to work with but I think it will provide some good protection. Cool! I'm digging those mags...and the green! Good luck with your build. You may want to post this in the 73-87 section if you haven't already.

Yeah, that green is kinda cool. Don't see a lot of that color anymore.
Been thru a few of those projects, that turn into more work often self-inflicted. Frame is looking good with that finish on there. Wish I could do that type of thing on mine. . . .

Re: Some pics of my '73 C20 LWB
The previous pics are showing the greenish self-etching primer. Here are some shots of the original Lime Green and then the new "Rescue Green Metallic" I am using. The last is a shot of the newer '87 bed I installed. Thanks for all the encouragement!
