Possible project truck trade?
Saw an ad on CL for a 1954 3/4 ton 3600 dually, 216 I6 4-speed. Runs and drives needs lines and master cylinder to stop. It look neat, dark green and not insanely rusty from the pic for up here. I emailed the guy (why not leave a phone #?) and asked him if he'd be intersted in a trade for my truck. '64 GMC 1/2 ton short bed pickup, 230 I6 3speed, runs drives and stops, some rust in the cab.... What do you guys think? My 64 isnt on the road I was planning on doing stuff to it this winter, but its been sitting for 4 months, I wouldnt mind and older project to tinker on..... what do you guys think? Is there a such thing as a dually 3/4 ton? Flatbed truck.... shouldnt it be a 1-ton? Would this have a 2-speed rear? Let me know what you think.

Re: Possible project truck trade?
if itis a 8 lug it is a 3/4 or 1 ton,but if it is a 5 lug dually than it has a 2 speed rear and i would stay away. the reason i say stay away is they are expensive for brakes and have t wheel cyclinders for each rear wheel an they run about $100.00 each. looked at one before that passed it up because that.
