WIW 72 1/2 Ton

A older gentleman in my town is getting rid of his 1972 1/2 ton P/U. Here is some details and I was wondering if it is worth anything?

Cheyenne with 350/350. Motor runs but very tired and tranny leaks like a siv. Had A/C but underhood stuff removed except for evaporator. Very Very rusty and is really not driveable. Has chrome around windows and lower molding on truck but it is shot.

No tilt/no tach and no posi.

He is asking $300.00...I'm just struggling as to what I could salvage?

Thanks, Alan

Those type of trucks are usually given away just to get them out of the owners hair.....I have seen several trucks I wouldn't even take for free......Any pics?

Didn't have camera...

I think the only thing I would be interested in is the chrome around the windshield/rear window, maybe wing windows and window cranks...Then I could haul the rest to salvage???

Just what I need...one more project...at least this one I could do with a torch!

I would be hard pressed to believe that you couldn't get $300 worth of parts out of that truck. Only question is do you have a place to keep it while your tearing it down?
