the last two are 81-87 tail gate bands and first two are used sometime during 73-80 the first one was used in the Cheyenne option and maybe some silverado's, the second one looks like its been modified since there no emblem

the 2nd pic is from lmc... all i can find is a hole talgate w/o lettering for about 250.00 i cant find just the band cuz i want just the clean band

eBay and craigslist, you might be able to find one there either a pull off or a nos piece

Yes, the band on my truck, the second one, is from LMC. It's not listed on their site and I don't have the current catalog, but in the 2008 winter edition, it is listed under molding on page 46. 1981-1987 brushed aluminum tailgate band...part# 38-9602 @ $489.95. It is plain with no logos.

Seems to me that almost all the '81- '87 bands I see on our trucks have at least one small dent in them. It is hard to find a perfect use one with not at least on dent. I have seen them but not many. The ones from LMC are a little costly. $489.95? I would take a used one with a small dent. You can take the logo off with heat.
