When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
Just wanted to put my 2 cents in. Ordered a bunch of parts from them.
The Good: Had great prices on ebay and they price matched them all Even price matched an ebay guy on custom lokar style pedals Got a majority of the parts in within 8 days from Cali to VA Parts that arrived in good shape and good quality Have done several other orders recently with no issues and always good pricing and products The Bad: Told when I ordered that all parts were in stock and would be shipping out in 3-4 days Called and emailed to check on parts with no response However, when I got the box they hadn't included the main boxes (drop kit with spindles/brakes/ball joints/tie rod ends, etc.) Parts are backordered. Told it will be 5-7 days and then 5-7 days for shipping. That is 10-14 business days so 2-3 weeks. Asked if they would expedite shipping and they will not. I would cancel the order but I got a really good deal on everything so I'll wait it out. Plus, we're past show season here so I don't need to hurry....it's just frustrating because I was told the parts were in stock and would ship...and I am ready for the parts and it will set me back a week or two in progress. Could have been much worse if I was on a set deadline. Just a heads up for everyone....In the end, I will order from them again because the parts have all been nice and the prices have been hard to beat. Called to follow up and

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
If it were me I would cancel the order and get the parts from a company that knows the meaning of customer service.I'm more than happy to spend a few more bucks with a company that has good customer service.
The funny thing about your post is that you have a complaint about them, but say you'll order from them again

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
I just posted this up because some new members might not be aware of their reputation for poor customer service. If I were in a hurry, I wouldn't have dealt with them, but since I have time, the budget was more important to me. I spent a little over 1000 and saved about 300-500 total over what I have found these products for online at other dealers. I have ordered several parts out of their ebay store with no issue other than delays in getting the product as well. No product issues or quality issues and price has always been excellent.
If I would have paid their catalog price and/or there was another dealer close to me where I could pick up the product for a similar price, I would have....but I paid hundreds less than their catalog price and have no dealer near me.

I don't like being lied to.
That's what CPP does on a daily basis. Get your order,... hold you hostage. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
No amount of savings is worth that type of service. You couldn't pay me to use them. And to keep using them keeps them in business, which allows them to continue there horrible reputation.
Have you called ECE and challenged them to price match. Even if they come in a few bucks more, those are the people to keep in business. |

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
I would buy from CPP again, and plan on doing so very soon.
If you are local, they are great to deal with. Judging by the responses on this forum, I would not buy from them if I was having something shipped. If I lived near ECE, I would try them out. But since I live in So. Cali, I would get charged for both shipping AND tax.

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
Update:
Got everything else in today. Three weeks after I got the other parts and a full month since I placed the order. Glad I wasn't in a rush Packaging was excellent as usual. All parts look to be there. Only small problem was they sent black vs polished adjustable tie rod sleeves. Everything else looks to be there and nice parts as usual. I'll let you know how they handle the tie rod sleeves.

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
A month is too long to wait. Period.
Do you think they would wait a month for you to pay them? And guess what,... they still got something wrong. They think they can send you "what they have",... and you will settle for it,... because you are tired of waiting. Worthless company. Worthless.

I live in So Cal and still do not order from CPP. I use EVE, Performance online... They do not care about customers IMO.

Have you ever gone in the shop? Every time I go in there, I have zero problems and great help.

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
Final update from me. received the polished tie rod adjusters and they're not asking me to return the others so I will be able to sell those. Will make up for some of my time lost.

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
i have spent many $ with ECE with no issues. Why talk to operators when you can talk to THE operator. The quality of their parts and service has no match for our trucks.

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
I had good luck with CPP. I ordered a suspension kit from them, yeah shipping was a few days longer than they told me and they charged me more for shipping than I was quoted, but one call and they refunded me the differece off the kit. I was pleased with the product and it was a great price. Tech support was great too.

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
Are we talking about the CPP that is one of our vendor's? If so, Jeff on here said to PM, Call or Email him if we ever needed anything. I bought his booster assembly and I dealt with him only and not only did I get Great service but I got honesty too. I will buy from him again. Also, John @Brothers is a super nice vendor that also helped me alot. JM2C

Re: When will we learn ;) CPP strikes again
The thing about CPP is they are hit or miss. I have ordered from ECE and others and if there is a problem, they call. CPP can go weeks with no call then you get one saying, "Not in stock." I have had no problem with their items, just there shipping.
