Check out the new Bed

Put my spare bed on today to see what it would look like.

I will be painting the truck medium olive and white but am not sure if the white will be in the middle or on top and bottom like the bed.

Let me know what you like best.

Re: Check out the new Bed

I'd prefer it like the cab. I saw a medium olive today, and it's a great color.

That's a nice solid looking truck you got there! Is the other truck a parts truck or project?

Yes it's a parts truck that I'm almost done with,
and the wife wants it gone.

Re: Check out the new Bed

It is good to see some guys close to home and they love their old Chevys. I have 69 pick up great ride. If you are looking for parts there is a lot of stuff at KMS Tools in New west.

Re: Check out the new Bed

I think with the green the bed style looks better, and, if this will be a driver, that requires 1/2 the trim that invites (or creates) rust, and if it's a driver or not, that's a LOT of $$ NOT spent on upper trim.
Plus, it's not seen as much as the cab style.
Some colors look bad ass with the white in the middle, but I don't think this is one of them.

Re: Check out the new Bed

I kinda agree with Andy on the single trim piece, must be a rust belt thing LOL. I've considered no trim on my 67 whenever I get it going. It will be a driver/work truck like it should be, my opinion.

Re: Check out the new Bed

i like solid green with white top. not sure if that was one of your ideas. i just think the white in the middle is a little too"flashy" idk just too much goin on and i really dont like the white underneath.
