part interchange on front drum brake hose

my parts store doesnt have a listing for the passenger side front drum brake hose for my 1967 K20 (with manual drums)

they seem to think 60-66 part might interchange. anyone know?

otherwise I will just take the hose in to match it up.

Re: part interchange on front drum brake hose

Part No. for Bendix Hydraulic Brake Hose 88344

Centric Part number: CE150.68011

AC Delco 18J15, can also use ACD18J15

Supposed to fit either side?

You beat me to it.
numbers are for K20 but not for a HD K20

we charge $33.00 for the Centric

supposed to fit 1961-67 certain models both same part. To be safe take it in and see or get a shop to make one

are you sure the 18J15 is the front? it comes up the rear on our parts system

Re: part interchange on front drum brake hose

I just Googled the 18J15 and I see it listed as a Front hose on a site and rear hose on others.

You are probably right, it is probably rear. But the first two numbers should give him a cross reference anyway.

Thanks for backing me up ! Bad info is worse than no info.

Re: part interchange on front drum brake hose

The part number for autozone is 88344, that is what I came up with while I was at work.

Re: part interchange on front drum brake hose

Yeah, they carry the Bendix part, They frequently use manufactures part numbers as their own numbers. If you go online to Autozone's Website, The very best online parts look-up there is for the non-dealer (IMHO) you can usually take their part number and google it, that will give you the Manufactures name and number so you can shop it. They will often give you the manufactures name right at their Website as well. Great resource they are.
