Rims

Will these rims fit on my 71 GMC 5 lug disc brake truck?
They are off a 88-98 GMC truck?
Thanks

Re: Rims

Yes, but if I remember correctly they will sit about an inch too far into the wheel well. They look a little funny because of that.
There may also be an issue with the hub size, but I can't remember for sure on that one.

Re: Rims

Yes they will fit and I belive '88-'98 have about the same offset as the prior years. I know I put a set of aftermarket 15x7 wheels that were on a '71 truck onto my '98 truck and they fit perfect and just like they did on the '71.

I also put my '98 stock wheels on my '68 after the 5 lug conversion and had no issues with the hub size.

My .02 worth.

Re: Rims

the offset may be a little pronounced. you could go with a set of 1" adapter/spacers if you want.

btw, I've always loved those SS/Sport rims!!

Re: Rims

Anyone have some pictures of these rims on a 67-72 long box?
