Vent window weather strip install
I installed new vent window and channel weather strip this week end on my '71,and I have to say it was a job......I was able to do it with out nicking any paint but I did scratch my window tint on the drivers side. The vent window is very hard to shut now , have to use both hands to shut it , but maybe thats because it is new rubber. I hope when the sun hits it for a little while it will be more easy to close. I ordered the vent window weather strip from LMC so im hoping it will last a while, I do not want to do it again any time soon. Any way thanks for the pointers and helpful threads last week guys , they were life savers. Thanks again, Shawn

Re: Vent window weather strip install
Yea you're right. I replaced mine and it took about a year before I could close it easily.
